OVERVIEW
Snosko was asked to design and supply a solution to safely store 7,000L of sodium hydroxide for a chemical processing facility in Australia.
Due to the critical nature of the site, the tank needed required leak detection options and the ability to be disassembled for maintenance.
SOLUTION
Snosko liaised with operators on site, and were able to configure the Snosko 7,000L Dual Walled Tank to meet the facility’s required nozzle configuration.
The standard design of the Snosko Dual Walled Tank also meant that it could be disassembled for maintenance.
RESULTS
The tank was commissioned on site. As the tank had clear space above it, it could be easily disassembled for maintenance by lifting the inner tank from the outer tank.
The dimensions of the outer tank ensured that the inner tank met the bunding requirements specified by AS3780-2008: The storage and handling of corrosive substances.
