OVERVIEW
Snosko was asked to supply a forklift-able vessel capable of storing 1,500L of hydrochloric acid for a mine in Australia.
Due to the fuming properties of hydrochloric acid, the tank also required a fume treatment device. This fume treatment device was required to be always attached to the tank.
SOLUTION
Snosko supplied a forklift-able tank which was completely sealed to contain the fumes.
The fume treatment device was mounted on the roof of the tank.
RESULTS
The tank was commissioned on site.
The fume treatment device was attached using bolted and union connections. This ensured it could be easily disassembled for media replenishment and maintenance.
