OVERVIEW
Snosko was asked to design and supply a solution to safely store and meter IBCs for a chemical processing facility in Australia.
Due to the critical nature of the facility, the facility had the requirement to measure the level of the IBC and day tank while dosing chemicals.
SOLUTION
Snosko liaised with facility, reviewing the requirements for the level measurement system in particular detail.
Snosko’s Engineers were then able to design a level measurement system which continually monitored the volume of the IBC and day tank.
RESULTS
The facility was able to measure the volume of the IBC and day tank both continually and remotely.
This allowed the facility to monitor their chemical usage and change out the IBCs before the system was empty.
This minimised downtime of the system and allowed operators to reliably schedule chemical deliveries.
