OVERVIEW
Snosko was asked to supply a fully thermoplastic chemical storage system to paper mill in Australia.
The client’s existing steel framed mother-daughter system was used to store sulfuric acid, which had leaked. The acid caused the galvanised steel frame to corrode.
SOLUTION
Snosko supplied an IBC loadable 1,500L Holding Tank with a dosing backboard. The only steel components in the system were the SS316 bolts.
RESULTS
The blank dosing backboard allowed for the client to re-use their existing pumps.
The fully plastic structure ensured that any future leaks would not compromise the structural integrity of the system.
